Women in Design
BOOK DESIGN
Inspired by an exhibition of the work of Ray and Charles Eames at the Barbican, London, this book showcases the work of women designers in furniture, textile, industrial, and graphic design and aims to celebrate the significant contribution women have made to their respective disciplines. Though by no means exhaustive, this book offers a more diverse representation of who the 20th century’s major designers were, acting as a critique of accepted design histories.
